Our First Show

We recently put on our first Little Rooms Concert.

Little Rooms is a new concert series built around a simple idea: artists and audiences meeting in a little room. No big stage. Just music, storytelling and closeness.

Our first show took place inside a small tattoo studio in Auckland, with walls covered in tattoo art and a room filled with people sitting quietly in chairs while others stood shoulder to shoulder waiting for the music to begin.

It was also the final show held at NiceGoblins before they moved into their new space, which made the night feel even more special.

DJ CALLMEAK opened the evening before ASHA, Auds. and Tusekah each brought something completely different to the room. Softness, honesty, longing, warmth and joy.

What made the night special was closeness. Artists stood only metres away from the audience. Conversations drifted between songs. The whole room felt connected.

By 9:30pm, the music had stopped, the cables were packed down, and everyone slowly drifted back into the Auckland night.

A very small room.
But somehow it felt much bigger than that.
